Incredibly smooth. Oak, pepper and earthy notes followed by a nice caramel and vanilla finish ! I have a 12 year as well and its right up there with it.

Bold! Vanilla, baking spice, leather with slight hint of oak and caramel. Nice smooth finish.

It’s smooth and really good, but over priced when you can find it.

So I am not a JD #7 guy at all. I am a bourbon guy but I’ve had the single barrel select before which led me to buy this since I’ve never seen it. This is damn good. Smooth as hell and bold with spice despite the proof. I highly recommend if you can find it.
