Rye — (bottled in) Vermont, Canada
Reviewed December 12, 2019 (edited May 20, 2020)I'm not the biggest rye guy but this is pretty nice! Starts all vanilla and sweet then moves to a long finish with increasing spice, rye, and a little fruit. Won't pay full but would prob buy on sale again. -
Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 5, 2019 (edited December 6, 2019)Sweet smoke on the nose, instant heat which fades slowly to vanilla, spice, and barrel char. Hotter than I'd prefer neat but opens up very nicely on ice. -
