Tastes

You definitely get the smoke on the nose and palate. Oily texture, and very light color. Fairly long finish. You can tell it’s a little higher proof, but still very drinkable. A little sweetness that is nice, I notice it more on the finish.

Strange, somewhat off putting nose. A little peaty taste, and slightly oily mouth feel. Not one I would reach for on a regular basis, but goes down pretty easy.

Smoky, peaty, and a hint of fruit. Not a very complex tasting whiskey, but mild and pleasant.
