Tastes

An interesting taste. You can definitely smell the IPA bitterness, but just a bit. Taste is clearly Jameson but has an interesting aftertaste that isn’t quite IPA and not quite Irish whisky but a blend of the two and I get a nice spice on the finish that isn’t evident in regular Jamo. I like it.

This is an example of why I switched to scotch from bourbon. For the price just a better experience. At least for me. This scotch is good, not great with a good nose, good mouthfeel but kind of a weak finish. It coats your mouth in a good way. It also stick around for a while which is welcome. Aftertaste of apples is interesting.

While I enjoyed it I was hoping for more peat. I guess they’re going for more of a single malt taste without the peat(?). Would buy again but won’t rush out for it.

Decent bourbon for the price.

For the buy this dominates regular Ezra 90 proof. Not sure why because only slightly higher proof but for the price this is a bargain whisky. Well done!

A nice whisky. Not a lot of depth but with what it is it’s very nice. Add a few drops of water for a different experience.

Nice sippin scotch.
