ER got me interested in bourbon

The purist in me attacked this one head on. Having never tried an OF product before I was excited about this find and equally excited for the experience. So in a shot glass it went. The nose was medicinal to me which I kind of expected. Also picked up earthy notes and some vanilla. The taste was hot on the first sip but settled on sips two and three. Warm finish made me wish it was a cold snowy day. Fun barrel proof experience overall.

WLW is highly coveted around where I live. Its more refined cousins (12yr and Antique) don't completely outshine SR. Will always have a bottle around. Paid $18.50 for the last one!!

Being a rye fan I bought a bottle of two year. Prefer Old Overholt.

My first Wild Turkey purchase. Gosh what a good one for the price.

Very smooth. Great value in a pretty good rye. Nice to get a drink w/o a hefty price tag.
