Tastes

Strong fruit and sweetness on the nose. Taste is drier than you would expect with a slight wine flavor and more dominant toasted grain. A great whiskey and interesting departure from bourbon and scotch flavor profiles.

Rich rye spice up front followed by a lighter finish of oak, vanilla, and leather. Smooth enough to be enjoyed neat, also good for a Manhattan

Starts off solid with oak and vanilla followed by mildly sweet corn. Unpleasant finish though with a taste of burnt rubber.

Starts out lightly floral, then transitions to a smoky/peaty finish. Smooth, light, delicious, but not particularly complex. Tasted at a bar for $16/ounce. Have seen in stores for $90 for a 750ml bottle.
