Tastes

This Scotch is briny and fruit forward with light smokiness rounding it out. It's the first Scotch I grab for people wanting to try an Islay. Easily makes my top 5 favorite whiskeys.

Brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon. I have only had the Sazerac version, but for $20 a liter this is a real bargain. Maybe it's not as good as before, but it's still better than some bourbon that I have had that's almost double the price, i.e. Knob Creek.

It smells and tastes like a vanilla pineapple upside down cake. It has a wonderfully creamy vanilla flavor along with baked pineapples that have been spiced. The viscosity on this whiskey is nice and thick causing it to coat the entire mouth beautifully. This is definitely in my top 3 whiskeys of all time.

Smells and tastes like crumb top(Dutch) apple pie! I definitely pick up the butter crumb crust along with baked apples and spices. A noticeable step up from the normal 12 year offering from Redbreast.
