Kilchoman Machir Bay (2014 Edition)
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed December 6, 2016 (edited December 11, 2016)Rich and sweet spices with briny ocean breeze on the nose. Smells light and peated. On the palate it's bright, rich, and a bit of briny heat that pulls apart the meaty body from the herby spice. A beautiful taste with a long, smooth finish. -
Westland Garryana 2016 Edition 1.1
American Single Malt — Washington , USA
Reviewed December 6, 2016The nose is warm with rich BBQ notes. On the pallet, the BBQ opens up to full mesquite. The finish is rich and full-bodied with ham and sweet notes to boot. Such a lovely, unique flavor that demands it's own category. -
Bowmore 12 Year
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed September 4, 2016 (edited September 14, 2016)Sweet baking spice on the nose with hints of vanilla and honey. The taste is rich and the body is full with a lingering peated finish. A great Scotch with a unique Islay tone that rounds out this very approachable expression.
