This is good, sweet bourbon notes round out that distinct Balvenie malty taste. But even though it’s pitched as a unique finish, it actually tastes pretty standard. A step above the regular line but below the Caribbean finish in my opinion.

This is good. Round traditional bourbon flavors, good vanilla and caramel, more spice than expected it in a good way. Overall decent mid-range bourbon but a little pricier than I’d like to pay for this quality.

At 12 years and 46% this is as balanced as you’d want from a rye at this price. Smooth, a little spicy, complex. Really good, easy drink.
