Tastes

A very subtle nose, with hints of fruit. The initial impression on the palate is incredibly delicate. Very little flavor at first, with no heat, just a little salty and oily. Then the flavors come pouring in slowly - pear, oak, vanilla, a hint of smoke. These flavors dance on the palate for a very long and delicate feeling. A very special drinking experience.

Starts off eith too much heat but the finish of vanilla and oak is nice

Vanilla on the nose, smooth palate with increasing warmness and oak with a sweet vanilla pastry finish. Very easy drinker, lacking some complexity

Smooth, sweet and spicy. One of the best tasting bourbons I’ve found

Sherry, full of flavor. But too much heat that hides away some taste

Soft, light, vanilla. Very gentle and pleasant

Delicate nose, complex palate. First soft sweetness, then rye heat, with a long spicy finish

Hint of honey on the nose, smooth caramel with increasing heat ending in sweet floral notes on the palate

Sweet and floral on the nose. Palate is very rich. Sweet honey, spices, oak wood, then lots of heat. Long okay finish with a lot of heat still. Quite a nice and sweet whiskey to have after dinner, but too much heat for my taste

Sweet honey and oak on the nose. Complex palate starting mild and sweet then the heat and spice comes in. Long finish with quite some heat. Really enjoyable, takes you on a journey so you can’t get sick of it easily
