Balvenie DoubleWood 17 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed July 24, 2015 (edited November 4, 2015)Serious scotch, great stuff. I add a few drops of water to open it up, but once you do it's so sweet. There is a nice hint of oak and vanilla, and it finishes smooth. Do yourself a favor and buy a bottle and keep it for company, yeah it's that good. -
Lagavulin Distillers Edition
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed December 26, 2014 (edited March 8, 2017)Great, mild, peaty start. Smells much stronger, but has a smooth taste! If it wasn't as pricey I'd be drinking this all winter. Definitely a must try. -
Glenfarclas 12 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed December 18, 2014 (edited April 24, 2018)Sweet start and then this Interesting flavor mid drink... Kind of like a smoky bump that kind of lingers. Not bad -
Highland Park 18 Year
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed December 17, 2014 (edited March 10, 2015)Not sure about the rich part, thought it was a little thin in the mouth myself. The flavor is there, sweet a little fruity... But after all the Talisker it feels a little thin. Still great, no doubt!
