Macallan Fine Oak 10 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed January 3, 2017 (edited August 27, 2017)Sweet, note of vanilla, really smooth. But for the money, I'd like to get Macallan 12 instead. This scotch is not as rich and delicate as 12. -
Nice. This is my first peaty scotch. The first time I opened it I felt really uncomfortable with the peaty flavor. But after a few days the peaty smell becomes weaker, and it's pretty smooth to drink. As others mentioned, finish is a bit short, but with long sweet and fruity flavor in mouth. Overall a very sophisticated scotch, definitely worth the price.
