Willett rye is what it’s all about. Well rounded, packed with fun flavors.. Pretty much the ideal alcoholic beverage. A must have for rye fans and a must try for whiskey drinkers. Never sleep on this phenomenal bottle. The short synopsis for Willett Rye: Starts off prominently with bubble gum then sizzles into cinnamon. Joyous dram.

It’s cheap and it has a little more balls than Jameson (being 86 proof rather than 80). Other than that it’s a hardly on par if not below par Irish, even for the price. The flavors do not linger and almost seem artificial. Perhaps could be used as a nice drink to pair with your dessert because while the flavors don’t linger- the ones that come through are heavier on the creamy honey side but lacking in spice, barrel woods, smoke, and fruit. Bought it to try something new on the cheap end, but won’t be buying again. Just drop an extra $5 and you’re enjoying a much more authentic yet cheap Irish in the Tyrconnell.28.9 USD per Bottle

Bushmills 10 Year Single Malt
Single Malt — Ireland
Reviewed July 15, 2019 (edited October 26, 2019)For the price, it's hard to do better. Solid Irish with more flavor than Bushmill's original, black, & red, but could use a tincy bit more character given its 40% abv. But at $40... c'mon, what more do you want?39.9 USD per Bottle -
Knappogue Castle 16 Year Sherry Cask Finished
Single Malt — Ireland
Reviewed May 2, 2019 (edited March 4, 2023)Unrivaled smoothness, this is one of the best Irish's that I've had. A little pricey given the Knappogue 14 is unique and excellent in its own right for 30 bucks cheaper. The 16 is so good you'll have to exercise restraint to make it last... try the Knap 12, then 14, then 16 to get the true elevation or variation of Knappogue's esteemed line of Irish's.79.9 USD per Bottle -
Hard to give this 5/5 based on each of my friends unknowingly suggesting the same thing upon my brag of the purchase of Suntory Toki: "Oh, man. You gotta try Hibiki." So the consensus is that Hibiki is the top notch, but Suntory Toki was my first Japanese whisky, as it is for many given it is perhaps the cheapest. I loved it. I could chug it, gargle it, savor it. There are various notes on the fruit side, but predominantly pear and macintosh apple (do not expect granny smith on this, there is nothing sour about it) mixed with a smoky, woody flavor, but said smoke & wood flavors are merely accents to the fruity, botanical ones. If you are searching for a new whisky around $40, do not settle for the same old- try Suntory Toki. This bottle is addicting in the best way.39.9 USD per Bottle

Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 11, 2019 (edited April 27, 2019)Not harsh, yet not too complex. Solid bourbon, fair price, not quite a standout. Looking to try the single barrel next. Above is my initial reaction, but as I drank it more there was a standout quality to it.. oakiness married with sweetness linger for a pleasurable finish.36.0 USD per Bottle
