Pretty good for a newer start up boutique distillery, but it’s hard to rate the single barrel based on a wide ranging flavor profile as a result of inconsistent barrel selection. Also... this is another trendy hipster bourbon the distillery and retailers are tagging stupid names on to generate an artificial exclusivity.

Very sweet... almost too sweet! This is so port forward, the classic corn, spice and oak notes take back seat. This is dessert.

Best choice in the E.H. Taylor line up... period! Stands up next to any bourbon two or three times the price and it comes with a storied history worth sharing with friends.

Always on the shelf at an incredibly fair price. Classic balance and flavor profile with a 10 year age statement. Also, store picks and single barrel selections will prove you be super yum!

Yummy, but not worth more than $38. If you pay more than that, you got had!

Better than pappy cause it’s affordable, totally accessible and the best wheated expression a regular guy can get his hands on. Also, if you see a store pick and don’t buy it... hang your head in shame.

The extra punch from the 103 proof raises the bar and makes this actually worthy of a top shelf bourbon. This stuff is actually worth hunting down instead of the average Blanton’s. Buy the regular stuff to give to your boss for a present, but buy this (if your lucky enough to find it) when you want a drink of fine American exported bourbon.

Good... just good. Balanced, light and sweet but not worth the hype or the ridiculous secondary market prices. Let the nubes keep buying it as cabinet trophies for $200+ and leave the appropriately priced better stuff for the drinkers.

Over rated... the proof is too low and pretty much tastes exactly like JB white label. Forgettable.
