I might be a little crazy, but this was a little briny.

When the shelf is barren of RR SiB and RR 10yr is the alternative option, you have gotten lucky!!! This is everything you want in a bourbon... vanilla, spice, subtle sweetness and an oak laden finish that’ll leave you wanting more! Buy it!

Lite beer of bourbon... forgettable.

I’m no expert and I’ll admit I’m unpredictably critical of the finer things, but this is damn good!!! Nose: fresh baked banana bread, holiday cookies and toasted nuts. Palate: cocoa shining through to dry rye. Finish: medium long with mocha and coffee. I was full on expecting this to be a sweet novelty, but this is cocoa forward with enough restraint to really enjoy the corn and the rye. I tend to favor higher proofs but 90.4 showcases the complexity.

Triple threat... BiB, 10yr age statement and a single barrel bottling. It’s good but for some reason people seem to think it’s worth buying every single one they see and posting them on social media for twice as much. It’s silly, buy one to drink at msrp and leave the rest for some to try. If you bought this on BSM for more the the $35 it’s worth, you’re judgement is flawed.

Meh... thin, light and forgotten. Can’t wrap my a head around cutting 15 year old bourbon down to 86 proof. It’s like someone thought you’d appreciate them adding water for the flavor of it.

LOOK OUT!!! Everything is on the table with ECBP! Clear your evening and half of your morning the next day, this is a creeper! At the price point and proof, there is no better bourbon as balanced, smooth and dangerously delicious. No contest, period!

Hot, spicy and long. This is a mid-winter essential that’ll warm your core and make you want a nap.

This is bourbon... period, full stop!

Pass... hard pass!!! Void of any complexity or enjoyable flavor, which is likely a result of its cut to 80 proof. Not trying to be overly harsh, but this tastes cheap, under-developed and belongs in a cheap cocktail or the trash can. On a side note, if your aim is anything less than 90 proof, bourbon probably isn’t your thing.
