Dried dark fruit up front like prune or raisin and decent balance between flavor and heat. Finishes very tannic and oaky so you need to like that kind of strong oak or like a tobacco finish. Medium finish dominated by that tannic oak flavor. Interesting pour with these unique flavor profile.

Very good traditional bourbon flavors with the stronger note of oak & wood that shine after19 years in the barrel. Looking forward to tasting the 11 year & 13 year one day. Not a huge fan of the oak but it’s not off putting. Somewhat reminiscent of the oak flavors of EC 18, not surprisingly
