PARADISE aftertaste.. but before that was HELL 🤣 I bought this bottle because of "bottle" (and it's the best from this producer) 🥃: First sip.. sweet, super sweet like drinking vanilla syrup, super hard to swallow..🥵 But after swallow, got aromas of raisin, fig, chocolate, almond, tobacco, vanilla oak.. very very long aftertaste (I still got its smell during meeting 🤣🤣) Before swallow I give 2.5 After that I give 4.5 Impresson is only 2.5 It's not for me lol 😆😆

Finished almost a bottle at once by 2 person only. Nice smell of orange, oak, cocoa, coffee, leather and violet. Medium to full body, sweet aromas and smooth in mouth, with notes of leather, oak, wood, orange, plum, vanilla, violet, a hint of pepper, and spice in background. Easy to sip while has spice from time to time, with medium to long aftertaste, with dark chocolate and cocoa finish. Not over in any area but it's overall delicious. Nice one to enjoy all night!

Very beautiful on nose with aromas of toffee, caramel, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, candy.. mellow and yummy feeling when smell it. In mouth, a little contrast feeling to nose since it's medium to full body with notes of prune, plum, oak, vanilla, dark chocolate, pepper and spice.. a little more spice at first but better by time (but still has more spice than my preference). Wait for a while and it got more mellow and smooth, spice was softer but still able to feel, with moderate length aftertaste with notes of toffee and dark chocolate. For the bottle with no box, the bottle itself isn't so nice to me, and the price is around $110.. If I want to wow my friends, I'll pick this one, but if I want to drink alone for hours, I might pick Camus Borderies VSOP instead, but that's just my humble opinion.

It's the optimum point for $100 cognac... On nose might not express intense aromas but still got floral, orange, zest and vanilla.. only nose alone might be a little less than expected. But in mouth it's very smooth and very easy to drink with aromas of orange, floral, soft wood, vanilla.. very balance medium body cognac, with moderate aftertaste (but you might not feel much since you'll take another sip so fast because of its mellow). Considering a very nice bottle and smooth-balance liquid for this price... very worth!!

Super spicy... much more than I can swallow easily... Its aromas are better than its VS.. bolder and more intense taste of oak and clove, but on nose is still less than expectation. Got some fruit notes but all were covered by pepper and spice, which I feel too much.. And when I mixed with a little water, it got better for spice but overall taste was dropped too... unfortunately. Drink neat? For me it might be a little hard to try again.. Mix with something else? Have to try and I believe it might be better. The best thing? I've bought only a small bottle!!

I've compared this one to Martell XO side by side... In conclusion, this one is silkier, softer, gentler, less intensity, lighter on nose and almost the same length of aftertaste, with totally different aromas. On nose, gently aromas of orange, orange marmalade and vanilla.. and after an hour or more, I got rancio aroma too. In mouth, the body isn't heavy but properly, with silky texture. The taste is nice with orange, orange marmalade, vanilla, candy fruits, hint of floral, light aroma of rancio and oak wood, with moderate to long aftertaste. Overall, I like this one for its gentleness and silky, and marmalade is something I do like personally (but with bread) so I'm satisfied with this one, except its price is a little higher than other XO I got.

I've compared this one to J.Dupont XO Art Deco side by side... In conclusion, this one is more rubust, fuller body, more fruity on nose and almost the same length of aftertaste, with totally different aromas. On nose, aromas of prune, plum, leather.. all packed with firm notes. In mouth, the body is firm, robust and spicy, but not too aggressive (may be a little for me since I normally prefer gentle to robust) with notes of black and blue fruits, fig, cedar wood, leather, cinnamon, wood... body is more massive than J.Dupont., with almost the same length of aftertaste. It's a very nice by the book XO for someone who prefer bold cognac (or bold wine).. It might be a little too bold for me, but good one by the way.

If not want to read long, my conclusion is go buying something else!! Lack of smell, structure, body, aromas, and the worst of all... aftertaste. The positive side, the only one I had, is oak note, which come in a little harsh feeling too. Smell almost nothing but alcohol, and taste almost nothing else but oak and wood notes, and they're all gone with the wind in very short time... Comparing to Martell VS, which is cheaper (as I can find), Martell is better in everything... Even mixed with coffee, this Hennessy VS is not beautiful.. I'll try to make ice cream with it later, but for now, will drink something else!! ????

If you can sip and go in minutes... skip this one... and you're making mistake!! This Camus XO needs time, a lot I mean, to get it expresses in glass.. At first, its smell contains aromas of orange peel, orange zest, and distinctive smoke. Even the alcohol itself still not harsh, it's all gentle. After waiting for a long time... it shows aromas of vanilla, honey, caramel, floral, spice and interesting aroma of herbs.. with continuously smoke aroma. When sip it, it's a beautiful thing in mouth... with great body and very mellow... Very luscious with independent character.. very complex by all mean. Aftertaste is very long, with notes of smoke and herb more than vanilla and caramel in background. If loving complexness, like drinking good wine, and able to wait long, this is the one for you!!

What a beautiful aromas! A little swirl and let alcohol release for about 5-10 mins... After that it's a beautiful in glass! Soft and mellow, with good body and no lack of structure at all, with notes of honey, leather, floral, oak, wood, a little cassis and above of all.. dark chocolate! In mouth, it's round and mellow.. very easy to drink and need more all the time. Aftertaste is long with note of dark chocolate and caramel til the end. Considering it's XO with actually more than a generation (25 years) in this price, with this mellow and beautiful along with very nice aftertaste, this is one of the best QPR in the market!
