Classic bourbon notes, vanilla and oak on the nose, oakey caramel slight peanut on the palate, hot peppery burn on the finish; nothing complicated, just a good solid value bourbon; you simply can’t beat the quality at $14, it’s much better than some $25-30 100 proof boubons; stands up well in an old-fashion; will definitely keep stocked in my bar.

Jim Beam Black Label Extra-Aged
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed April 25, 2021 (edited September 3, 2021)A good sipper; the price point makes it a decent nightly pour; definitely a no-go for cocktails; Vanilla & wood notes, pretty soft (it has oanties) not much finish, but still not bad; I didn’t pick up any heat, but I normally sip Wild Turkey 101, Old Forester 100 or Elijah Craig so my tastes tend to run stronger. I would buy again for the price. -
