Tastes

Not much aroma, just grainy and boozy. But the taste reminds me of vanilla, butterscotch, maple, then oak-y with some mild bitterness, pleasant spice like cinnamon, allspice, ginger. This is my first taste of a Jim Beam product, and I like it a lot so far.

Spicy then smooth with sweet vanilla and some bright fruity flavor and sweet corn. Pretty rich, flavor has some depth to it. Spicy in the end like a good hit of cinnamon with ginger.

First time tasting this, first taste from the bottle. Chocolatey, toffee and honey, some sweet fruit like orange and cherry, warm cinnamon in the end. Sweet, smooth, and rich. For someone who is still very new at whiskey, this is surprisingly easy to sip on. New favorite so far.

Vanilla, toffee or honey, peppery spice, maybe some herbal bitterness in there. Not amazingly complex, but fairly easy drankin' and kinda smooth. Exceeded expectations for sure. $23.99 on sale (+ tax) per 1.75 liter in PA.

Hot, butterscotch, peppery, but mostly sweet until a bitter citrus zest note toward the finish, which is nice. I like it a lot. Only Evan Williams bottled-in-bond is a better value for the quality, in my amateur opinion.

Candied Walnut, warm caramel, cinnamon. Not special or complex, just a good bourbon. Not bad at all. Around $25 for 1.75 liters. Worth it.

Neat. Sweet and hot. Candied nuts, caramel and honey, oak followed by some spice in the end. Only my 2nd check-in, an amateur for sure, but for the value, I'll probably always have this on hand. Just a good bourbon. Around $34 per 1.75 liter.

First check-in! Had it neat. Rich, sweet, slight smoke and oak, caramel, cherry, bit of spice in the back end. As an amateur, I'd recommend this, especially at around $27 (tax incl.) for 750 ml.
