Probably it for everyone, rather intense dark grapefruit and Sherry. But I liked it very much

Nose : strong smoke, peppermint, fresh cut grass, iodine Body : short sweet peppermint, followed by smoke, mild chilli, typical medical flavour, very intense Finish: medium long, burnt wood, basil Laphroaig is my least favorite Islay who's, simply because I don't like the medical taste. However, you've got to admire their skills in making excellent whisky. This is a perfect example of affordable but well made whisky.

Nose : sweet, brandy, banana, hints of smoke Body : licorice, pepper, gooseberries Finish : medium long, dry wood, a bit bitter, mouth watering Overall : the 12 year old used to be much better. It is still very rich, but get the 18 year if you can afford it.

Nose: strong smoke, seaweed Body: smoke, salted caramel Finish : very short, salty notes linger a bit Overall, a very smooth drink with not much to it

Nose : warm, brandy, rather weak Body :pepper, licorice, candy, dried fruits Finish : butterscotch A very enjoyable dram, could need some extra punch

Nose: sharp Apricot, raspberry, corn Body : butterscotch Finish : licorice Lacks depth on the body

Nose : apple, grass, almond biscuit, bit chemical but not disturbing Body: caramel, powder sugar, honey Finish: short & sweet, bit toffee

Nose:typical bowmore smoke, bit burnt rubber Body: Smooth, peppermint, pepper, gingerbread, lacks a good punch Finish: short , slowly fainting smoke Nice everyday dram, but could use some more power

Nose: wood, brandy, honeymelon Body : Smooth , sweet, gummybears Finish : medium short, cherries, licorice, a bit bitter A pleasant and sweet dram
