2 stars for the history behind this dram and full respect to anyone who tried to develop a whisky batch behind the iron curtain. However ... 0 stars for the taste.

Considering the price - this I another Suntory quality example. Light blend, both in color and taste, with a very charming aftertaste. Try it on the porch during a warm summer evening while thinking about your life.

The dark side of Mango. Might not be your best friend after the first sip, but this dram could be a slowly growing long lasting friendship.

Ok, you will pay for the brand, story telling and bottle. But that doesn't make it a bad blended whisky. Give your nose some time to develop a taste for it and search for the details before your just sink it in. It a high quality design blend, but of course doesn't have the clean spirit of a single malt.

Fair price for a fair taste, but a bit flat as a straight experience. I used it for Old Fashioned

A great and smooth burbon - a real treat for your senses. I like it straight with no ice. Four stars for Four Roses.

Brukswhisky is roughly translated "useable whisky", and that's exactly what it is. The ambition of this whisky is printed on the table, so don't expect a challenge, innovation or out-of-this-world experiences. It's a well balanced, easy to understand and nicely finished whisky build on the single malt concept. Good harmony beetween taste, quality and the rather low price range. Had it been more expensive, I wouldn't give it four, but I pay respect to the Mackmyra ambition of this bottle

Good oak but the high sense of minerals makes it an obvious Swedish single malt. If you close your eyes, you can almost see the forrest. Something different and probably aquired taste.

It's like rye coated with caramel. Danish concept with Scottish quality standards. Must try!
