This new Johnnie Walker expression is said to be a sort of homage to the USA, first matured in first-fill bourbon American white oak barrels and then finished for about 6 months in ex-rye casks. The blend is made from four whiskies including malt from Cardhu and grain from Port Dundas.
BlendedComprised of both single malt(s) and single grain(s) often from many different distilleries; if Scotch or Irish must be aged for at least three years in oak barrels; Irish may include single pot still whiskey in the blend.
