    CAN smell corn and wood in the nose. Really woody flavor, didn’t love it. Very peppery too. Less peppery with few drops of water. Probably wouldn’t get it.

    3.5. Would def buy. Smells like TGiving. Definitely get orange peel/zest in the mouth. Moreso with a few drops of water.

    Bacon fat smell with little peat Same bacon aftertaste. Some salted peat but not like Laphroaig. Not ashy. Really good. Would def buy.

    Nose: brine. Sweet. Some vanilla and caramel. Palate: less peat. Sweet and salted caramel/toffee, still with sea smoke. Slight ash burn. Can taste sherry cask. Very good. 3.75 Would definitely buy but still think quarter cask was best. 5th tasting of the night.

    Same as quarter cask but cask strength version. Nose: strong ethanol and similar underlying as quarter cask. Peaty and some sweet. Palate: again, similar with more of a burn. Sweet and peaty. Ashy finish on the throat. It is my 4th tasting. Couple drops of water sweetens it and cuts the burn on nose and palate. I like it and would buy. Maybe prefer the quarter cask though. 3 star

    Nose: more vanilla and demurra sugar (bourbon). Oak. Slight brine. More peat than 10 and Select. Same sweetness as select, which I like. More of a burn than the others. Similar charred smoke. Much spicier taste and nose. 3.5. Would buy. This and select cask are my faves. Couple drops of water cuts the spice and burn on the nose/palate. Really good like this. Would buy this over select cask with a few drops of water.

    Nose: Similar brine and slight peat smell as select cask. More fruit. Peat and smoke. Vanilla, slight spice. Liked select cask more, which was sweeter and a little less harsh. But this isn’t bad and could be interchanged. Uses makers mark casks Couple drops of water made it saltier

    Salty, briny nose Charred smoke flavor but sweet too. Slight spicy finish but soft mouthfeel. Clean finish without lingering (in a good way). Quite good. More smoke than peat. Would buy.
