A very rye forward bourbon, which is fine, but I think i might enjoy my bourbons a tad bit sweeter. Enjoyable if you like rye and bourbon and want an even mix of flavors, but would’nt be my first pour

Tasty. The proof is nice, give it complexity (idk bro I’m just guessing XD) but isn’t overbearing, and I look forward to continuing to up the proof on my future bottles. Definitely spicier than the Knob Creek, or not as sweet I should say, and I am clocking a bit of that grainy taste that the Buchanan’s has but its not nearly as strong and really not quite the same, the graininess gets buried behind the rest of the flavors so not an issue here. Really solid bottle, but nothing special either

Spicy just like the rye but sweet too. Very tasty, good warm burn, good official intro into the 100 proof club

Spicy but easy

Smooth and delightful on the first sip, but aftertaste could make it undesireable after a while
