This is ridiculously good. Oak, char, caramel and maple in the nose. Flavor is deep and charismatic. Rich and full and for the proof, so smooth. Long finish.

Very nice nose. Maple syrup and vanilla. Mouthfeel is a little young and thin. Flavor is good. Oak and a longer finish.

Rum notes float out of the bottle immediately upon opening. Molasses and nutmeg? on the nose. Definitely Caribbean spices. Mouth feel is exceptionally smooth. Like unbelievably smooth. Nice rye hints and a shorter finish. High proof is helpful. Very much enjoying this bottle.

About the same as the expert review. It’s very light and not a lot up front. Finish is woody, maybe a little like bark but in a nice way. Definitely dry. Easy going sipper. Wouldn’t have noticed the beeswax if it hadn’t been pointed out to me but it’s there. Crazy.

That talisker is good! Immediately on the nose and tongue is Queen Anne chocolate covered cherries. Very fruity. Peat and smoke make an appearance at the end. Faintest of salt on the very finish. Wow!

Not bad. I pick up more of the Islay profile than anything else but seems decently balanced.
