Bourbon — Washington, USA
Reviewed June 29, 2021 (edited August 20, 2021)Did a full flight of all of their options. Disliked all of the brand offerings other than this one, and it was only ok. Not worth the premium price. -

Ardbeg 10 Year
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed September 17, 2017 (edited September 19, 2017)"It's dead and rotting, throw it out..." Ok, that's a bit harsh, but for my palette the heavy peat tastes like what it is, several cm of rotting plants and a precursor to oil. -
Craigellachie 13 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed September 17, 2017 (edited April 24, 2018)Out of a regional representative flight at The Whisky Experience in Edinburgh, this 2017-10 bought another bottle and decided it’s one of my favorites so far . Speyside clearly won over the blandness of the lowlands, light flavor of the highlands and the "its dead and rotten" flavor of Islay.
