Butterscotch. Too sweet for me.

this is a respectable rye and holds its own to other ryes at twice the price point. no reason not to keep this on your shelf for Manhattan's or even neat!!! in my opinion underpriced at $24

for me it pulled too much char and oak from being double barreled. having said that i feel that most people who are new to shopping bourbon best will find this very approachable. if that's you give it a try!

Barrel #14-882. Distilled 11.5.14 Bottled 11.12.18 first time having New Riff. pleasantly surprised and a welcomed change from my regulars. Good flavor profile. I picked up light vanilla, oak, peppery, and citrus. decent lingering a bit on the back end. I really enjoy this proof of 112.4. I could sip on this neat all night.
