Rothman & Winter Crème de Violette
Floral Liqueurs — AustriaTasted March 6, 2019A great choice when making an Aviation. I also recommend Giffards and The Bitter Truth when shopping for this particular liqueur.
Cardinal Spirits Tiki Rum
Silver Rum — Indiana , USATasted March 6, 2019Rum is not my favorite spirit but I love making and drinking tiki drinks. So the name alone boosted it to 4 stars. This is a great affordable option when looking for a rail rum to use in cocktails.16.0 USD per Bottle
Hochstadter's Slow & Low Rock & Rye (84 Proof)
Herbal/Spice Liqueurs — (bottled in) Pennsylvania, Multiple CountriesTasted March 6, 2019Would love to try the 100 proof but I can’t find it anywhere. Sip it neat, on the rocks, make a lil old fashioned with it. There’s no wrong answer20.0 USD per Bottle
Lock Stock & Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey 18 Year
Rye — CanadaTasted March 6, 2019I’ve been slightly obsessed with this Rye ever since I first tried it. The 16yr is also fantastic.160.0 USD per Bottle
Whistlepig 10 Year Straight Rye
Rye — (bottled in) Vermont, CanadaTasted March 6, 2019It is a great Rye whiskey. But! For the price you could find something better. I like to use it in cocktails (whiskey smash) and watch people go nuts because “you can’t mix it, it’s a waste of good whiskey”.70.0 USD per Bottle
Hibiki Japanese Harmony
Blended — JapanTasted March 6, 2019This whiskey is fantastic but you could find something better that is cheaper. Still bummed it’s discontinued though.60.0 USD per Bottle
Modern Gin — JapanTasted March 6, 2019I don’t particularly care for gin but I would drink this one on the rocks. Taste like you put Luxardo maraschino and gin into a milk jug, shook it really hard and then transferred the contents of the milk jug into something that’s a lot classier. If I remember correctly the six flat panels on the bottle represent the 6 Japanese botanicals that are used for the gin.
Bitter Liqueurs — ItalyTasted March 6, 2019I can get down with an Aperol spritz every now and again
Bitter Liqueurs — Lombardia, ItalyTasted March 6, 2019I personally don’t care for the aftertaste this spirit brings but you can’t make a negroni without it! Gotta give the people what they want, ya know?
Bitter Liqueurs — FranceTasted March 6, 2019Something people don’t see often and it’s has great flavor. Absinthe was becoming illegal and this spirit was created with a little green devil on the bottle to appeal to absinthe drinkers who were seeking out the green fairy. The vintage poster is more famous than the actual liqueur but this stuff is bomb. Use it in a Manhattan28.0 USD per Bottle
