Woody, like oak and some leather, a light tobacco. I was expecting a bigger flavor but it’s surprisingly thin. Very short finish.

The color is a beautiful rich dark copper. The nose had a nice combination of oak and dark fruits. The taste was consistent with the aroma. A nice surprise. These long aged bourbons can go either way; Better than I expected.

Oak, dark fruits like plum and black cherry, pepper, a nice long finish. Actually very Pappy-esque (15 year expression). There’s nothing not to like about this. It’s a winner if you can find it. Price was reasonable- $15 for this pour.

The price point is high, but this is not your Tuesday night bourbon. Oak and tobacco, burnt sugar, some dark fruit in the middle. The finish is moderate and I was disappointed it wasn’t longer; but there’s a taste of Texas heat I really liked.

This has become a top 5 bourbon in my collection. The familiar vanilla and caramel of most bourbons, with oak, leather and a little spice, nutmeg, black pepper near the end. I wish the finish was longer and the price is on the high side.

Oak right up front, leather in the middle, soft tobacco. Nice finish, though I wish it was longer. $22.50 a pour where I am. I liked this drink right up until I found out the price. Wayyyyy overpriced for these sips.

Light citrus up front, turning to dark fruit, mint, oak. I would have liked a longer finish, but overall a very good bourbon.
