Overall not really impressed, it’s like trying to drink whiskey out a bottle of wine . The nose is the best part of this bourbon , taste disappears after mid palate . I get a lot of grape and black pepper but once it gets about half threw your tongue it flattened out , no hug no burn almost became wine like lol low proof and she shows . I’d pass on this one and it’s price tag but if your not super into bourbons and just want something to talk about and a easy sipper “boo” it might work for you or maybe lady’s who like wine . I bet it’s sourced from Dickle !

I can’t get over the finish, it’s very drying and taste like baking Flour. Way over priced in my opinion and I’m usually a fan of Woodford Reserve .

"This received one star because at least it was wet and had alcohol in it. This is the worst tasting bottle I have ever bought to date!! These distillers should be ashamed of their selfs and there product !! It taste like they put chunks of and old tire in the barrel. Go back to the drawing board or make Vodka.. Booo "

"Sooo I’ve been seeing this bottle pop up in liquor stores that I frequent as of late and was eventually talked in to buying a bottle witch wasn’t hard because I’m a whiskey junkie . Anyways on with the reviews 5 years in the Texas heat will apparently leave you with ones of the darkest and sexy look juice I’ve seen !! I had already suspected that the first pour was going to have a heavy oak punch and boy did it’s wowzers expecting that I had a couple pour and figured to let is sit for a couple weeks and open up . I’m now on two weeks bottle open and there is still a heavy oak present but it has mild down . nose: has an oak and leather smell with spice and sarsaparilla . Taste : No surprise oak , leather, spice and some Carmel Finish was decent the oil if heavy and soak tongue well even got a slight butter taste . Even though it’s high proof at 133.9 it was surprisingly smooth , but it did lack complexity and wasn’t worth the price tag at $215 to $400 depending where you look. All in all I will say I did find myself wanting more and weirdly made some of my other collect taste a bit dual probably because of the heavy flavor there wasn’t much flavors but the ones that where there we very distinct and long lasting.

"Holy Crap this is Flat !!!! This I would say is my second worst buy to date . Woodford Reserve Double oak is about $20.00 bucks cheaper and way way way better ! If you are not a huge fan of whiskey & bourbons and just want something easy to drink , this would be for you. Feels heavily watered done and non complex at all , just flat and fast I don’t know what these other reviews are talking about lol and absolutely pass at $70-$80 dollars big let down ."
