Tastes

Softly peated on the nose, a little part of smoke and salt in taste and mild sweet in aftertaste. I would compare it with Laphroaig Select and can say Talisker 10 is more enjoyable and balanced. It's awesome.

Very very very good, but not amazing. Maybe one of the best for this price. And definitely the best and amazing style and bottle design!

This is the first whiskey that makes me think it looks like a complete work of art. I don't want to change anything, just enjoy and comprehend. The balanced taste, soft and lingering, but not boring, especially with its revealing aftertaste with some smoky notes. Is recommended for everybody. It's gentle, it's elegant, it's awesome!

Very enjoyable but I feel some alcohol burning in aftertaste especially compared to Woodford for example. But still very good bourbon and I definitely like red wax on the bottle.

It's more likely to be mixed with sherry rather than matured in sherry casks. Too sweet for me but the first sipping was quite good) Update: after a couple days from opening the bottle the taste has become more balanced and pleasant without this expressive sweetness. This makes me change my score to 4.25. It's now very good one for sipping.

My first peated single malt, so can't compare to others yet. But I would say it's well balanced, with some fruity notes and light smoke. I've really enjoyed it.

Quite nice whisky for its price, nothing bad to say, worth try.
