Grey Goose Vodka
Grey Goose // France
Grey Goose launched in 1997 and is one of the first super premium vodkas to hit the market. It is made from French winter wheat sourced from farms in Picardy in northern France. It is column-distilled and sent to Cognac where demineralized spring water from the region is added to bring the vodka to proof.
Unflavored VodkaDistilled from any agricultural product, most commonly grains or potatoes. Typically distilled to 95% ABV. Water is added to bring the spirit down to as low as 37.5% ABV in the EU and 40% ABV in the US. It is usually filtered, often with charcoal, prior to bottling. It is almost always clear and unaged.
"The aroma is full of dusty wheat, though the intensity is mild. A touch of lemon peel and black pepper is there as well, but overall this is more of a neutral vodka. The vodka is just a touch sweet with a wheat crisps flavor. The body is medium-light with a crisp and clean finish. "
