I do not like regular Monkey 47. This was different. Far less overwhelming to the pallete. Less bug spray. Just a good, complex gin.

Had it in a g&t as the signature drink of The Gage in the Chicago loop. Mild flavoring and very smooth.

Very floral, but one clear note, so i like it more than the generallyl floral gins. Had it with fever tree and the hibiscus is very prominent. Not overly boozy. A winner for a simple cocktail.

Had this in a g&t and it tasted like a standard g&t with rose extract, which you can add pretty easily. I didnt hate it, but it wasnt life changing.

Nice strong pepper notes and not too dry.

More floral than i usually like but solid gin. More flavor if you're doing a gin and soda.

Had it in a corpse reviver #2 so hard to pick out individual notes, but i enjoyed it.

Melts into a g&t very well.

Was excited to see an Australian gin on a shelf in the midwest. Was also surprised by how strong the anise taste was. Tried it in a gimlet and a g&t with a splash of lime to take the edge off. Good overall. I bet it makes a great negroni, though I have yet to attempt. I would rate it higher except the juniper was relatively low and it hid in the gimlet. I tend to like high juniper, low floral gins.

This was the resort brand gin in Punta Cana in DR. The same distillery made tequila and rum. Solid london dry, but nothing too different or fancy.
