Sweet marmalade and milk chocolate dominate for an easy to drink and delicious dram. Less spice than I’d prefer, though there is enough oak lingering in the background to keep things interesting.

Heavy notes of vanilla and caramel with a light touch of spice and oak. A little sweet for my tastes, but delicious as a night cap.

Had a dram on a recent flight and it hit the spot. Honey sweetness and full bodied, with just a hint of spice. Not overly complex, but still a mighty enjoyable whisky, and one I would never turn down.

Light, sweet with a touch of peat. Dangerously easy to drink. Not complex, but very enjoyable. My bottle is at 40% (though it’s definitely the Viking Honour as shown here), so maybe that’s taking a bit of the flavor out of it that some others have experienced.

Light caramel on the nose that follows through with a touch of honey on the back end. Not getting the amount of smoke that others mention, though it is there. Light. Pleasant. Incredibly easy to drink.

Puts the signature Ardbeg smokiness to the background, though it is still there and in all the best ways. A rounded sweetness instead accentuates the smoke giving an enjoyable sipper that you keep coming back for.

Smoke. Mixed with brine and iodine. A hint of sweetness lingering in the background but drowned out by intense smoke. Enjoyable but somewhat one note.
