Laphroaig Quarter Cask
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed February 2, 2015 (edited March 2, 2015)Oily smokey peat on the nose, old musty ball mitt, vanilla. Oily and only slightly smokey and peaty on the front, peatiness picks up and lingers well into the finish. Traces of vanilla and earth, sweet smoke peat lingering long after. Added a little water on second try, dark shoe polish on the nose, a little sweeter on the front same lingering peat smoke finish trailed late by vanilla smoke. -
