Spicy and robust, decent value. The palate has a good heat. Akin to the HASHAFAHSHAFAH of stealing a piece of bacon directly out of the pan. Flavor hits the sinuses as of the wooden leg of a weather worn pirate thunking about the deck. Similarly destabilizing in the knees (what with being 100 proof). Set heading for the eye of the storm, and enjoy.

Enjoyable for the price. Slight taste of early morning flight with a hint of rain the night before. The nose carries the prospect of a bacon sandwich breakfast later in the morning. Comparison to Bulliet Rye, not as robust throat > mouth but worth the price.

Spicy and flavorful. The standard by which others are judged. Nice relaxing sipper. Pairs perfectly with those comfy boxers you wouldn't wear for a sexy night with your wife. A whiskey at home, being at home.
