Tastes

Man i had high hopes for my first time trying an indian whiskey. The nose of this whisky os heavy yeat. So much it tastes like yeast! Smells just like the grounds of buffalo trace distillery! Doesn’t help the taste of the heavy yeast, immature flavor of this bottle.

Even thought its a fairly low alcohol content, this whiskey is heavy on the alcohol.

Really enjoy this Penelope four grain. Very smooth with a hint of sweatness. Does not taste like 112 proof that it is. Very smooth!

Love the flavor of this double wood. Smooth, but the sherry and oak both flow through with a honey finish.

Wonderful flavor from the double cask. Much smoother than the standard 18 yo.

Not much flavor of any kind. But for higher proof it’s not to bad!

Not a bad whiskey. Was not as smooth as other 10 year whiskies. Oils have finished better but overall not bad.

Fairly well balanced for a lower end priced whiskey. Goes down smooth with lots of flavors throughout!

Nice strong oak flavor. A little bite but nothing super strong that stands out.

Very nice smooth mix of bourbon.
