One of the best starter whiskies out there. Smooth, inoffensive and entirely gentle. Throw in an ice cube, and you might as well be drinking a soft drink.

I originally had this rated two stars, but I've since bumped it up to three. 2.5 stars is probably a more accurate rating. At its price point, Wiser's Deluxe is a good pick. It's an inoffensive whisky that's light and easy to drink. Best with an ice cube in the glass.

My favourite whisky of all time. Fruity, creamy and rich. Smooth yet complex and interesting. The flavour lingers in the mouth for a long while after you've swallowed. Simply delicious.

Quite nice. Not as nice as Gibson's 18 year, but very few whiskys are. The nose is slightly harsh with some alcohol burn, which also manifests itself in the mouth, but all-in-all this an excellent whisky. I do prefer the Sterling because it's a bit fruity, but you really can't go wrong with the 12 Year Old.

The small batch version of this is delicious. Yes, it is sweet, but I for one tend to appreciate that in a whisky when the mood strikes. Probably the smoothest whisky I've ever tried. Haven't had the original version, so I can't compare.
