Early Times Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 13, 2022 (edited November 23, 2022)3.5-3.75* bourbon that is cheap. This is a sazerac version (I’ve heard the older version is better but haven’t tasted). Oak, spice, nutty, vanilla with a medium spice finish. -
Blanton's Original Single Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 13, 2022 (edited May 16, 2022)Typical flavors of bourbon nose but beautiful nose- best part of blantons for me is the nose: floral, oak, vanilla, caramel. Palate: caramel, light vanilla, oak, rye spice finish. Good but not worth the crash hype/cost. I think there is some nostalgia for me because it was something I drank regularly for years. -
Not worth the crazy price but a good bourbon that is complex for 90 proof. Nose: floral, lighter oak, baking spices. Palate: just a little thin feel, fairly typical bourbon flavors of vanilla & oak, fruit/cherry, with a bit of a rye spice finish. If I could regularly get this for $50-75 it would be great.
