Pinhook Bohemian Bourbon High Proof
Pinhook releases new vintages of bourbons and ryes each year, always named after thoroughbred horses. This 2020 release of high-proof bourbon is distilled from a mash bill of 75% corn, 15% rye, and 10% malted barley.
Distilled at Castle and Key in Frankfort, Kentucky, it aged for at least 34 months before being blended and proofed by Sean Josephs at 114.5 proof.

Tasting Notes
"This high-proof offering from Pinhook gallops out of the gate, bringing heat, woodiness, and a little vanilla. It mellows out with a touch of water, exposing hints of lemon peel and brown sugar, leading to almond on the finish. Expect a whiskey that's still a bit brash and young, but one that bodes well for future releases with a bit more age."
