One of a kind taste that reflects the 3 woods used for aging. Has a sandalwood and blackberry taste on the front of the tongue. Sherry takes over the back end. I’d held off on buying this because $70 for a no age statement lowlands single malt seemed overpriced. It’s worth a try.

Cask strength. Could use a little water. Reminiscent of a solid bourbon but not as sweet.

Smoky out front but not overwhelming. Young. Once the smoke passes hints of toffee/butterscotch. Enjoyed it and interested in other offerings from this still.

A marriage of bourbon and scotch. Forward taste of sweet vanilla, toffee and charred brown sugar. Lingering finish with a mild burn. it’s unique and delicious. I’d recommend this as a gateway scotch for bourbon drinkers. I’d buy again.

Enjoyable from start to finish. Mellow with a balanced sherry note. Doesn’t need any water. better than the regular 12yr and made me see why people recommend the distillery "

Easy to drink. Easy to pay for. A great value if you’re not trying to impress anyone. Light, floral notes. Immature but at that price point hard to complain.
