I was slightly disappointed with the 12. Expected a bit more peat, but still a pleasant dram. A splash of water helped open it up to the nose a bit...

Smoky, peaty, but no so overpowering that you lose the complexity of the flavor. Band-aids, sweet oaky finish. Every bit as good as a Lagavulin 16.

Very good bourbon. Pleasantly sweet for being a wheated bourbon. Prefer this over the Antique.

A little too hot to get a ton of flavor out of this one. Still good though.
