1792 Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 18, 2024 (edited December 22, 2024)Nose has light fruits (apple, pear). Palate was the rich caramel, toffee, and vanilla. Was incredibly creamy and smooth. Finish left the spice and hug but a great sipper. With a cube was incredibly easy and not much of any spice just smooth Kentucky bourbon.70.0 USD per Bottle -
1792 Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 8, 2024 (edited December 22, 2024)Pear and tame apple nose. Typical 1792 quick spice then a big swarm of toffee, creamy, vanilla finish. Nothing super complex but great pour for under $4038.0 USD per BottleD & J Liquors -
Nose can really get the cherry fruit and cinnamon spice. Not a bad taste but reminds me of Cherry Robutusin where you get the quick punch of fruit. Then evens out with the strong oak char. Great sipper and fantastic with a cube. Have seen the bottle but havent heard much about. A great sleeper!100.0 USD per BottleTowne Spirits & Fine Wines

Old Forester Single Barrel Bourbon Barrel Strength
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 8, 2024 (edited September 20, 2024)Fantastic bottle strong caramel and vanilla but the heat from a barrel proof bourbon. Just a quick hit of the heat but absolutely fantastic!95.0 USD per Bottle -
Came across this at a local liquor store with a great variety. Never seen before and got a sample. Mint nose and hint of floral. Palate oily and floral. After taste is like a bold red wine it is incredibly dry. Tried neat then added a cube. Opened up better but very surprising pour. Dont think I would pay $75 a bottle for but nice sample.
