Talisker 10 Year
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed November 30, 2017 (edited December 30, 2017)$80 Was blessed to go to Scotland on a cloudy overcast day enjoyed oysters on the islay at the oyster shack a mile or two down the road and then bought this gem after touring the distillery. Let's just say the nose and taste of this wonderful peaty scotch brings me back to that memory. :) -
$49 I honestly loved this because it was different. Doesn't smell or taste like a normal bourbon or whiskey but I don't think it was meant to. Strong sweet nose of cab and port wines. No bite or burn at all really. Sweet and really nutty finish. All the wine drinkers that have had some at my place have really liked it. Nice to have in the collection.

$30 Honey, sweet, vanilla notes with some spices and hints of oak and floral. Like walking through a meadow during a spring morning. Same with the taste, first sip had a burn to it but let it air out a bit and it was smooth with a nice finish. Definitely worth getting a bottle but this is my least favorite Weller which is still saying a lot because I love all the Wellers.

Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon
