Teacher's Highland Cream
Blended — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed February 6, 2015 (edited August 12, 2015)Like a burly version of the black grouse. There is a lot of peat, some smoke, some sweetness... not a very smooth drink, IMO it takes an experienced drinker to appreciate. That being said, at this price (under $20) I could learn to love it. -
1792 Ridgemont Reserve Bourbon 8 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 3, 2015 (edited January 12, 2015)I give it a solid 4 stars for the taste alone. For the price (under $30) it's a 5 star drink. Sweet, spice, good body and medium finish. -
Quite smooth and easy to drink. To me, the nose is both nutty and citrusy. The taste is rich with sherry, spice, and creamy vanilla. The finish is long and all of the flavors linger on the palate. This normally sells for $60 in the stores near me. It's good and definitely has a unique taste compared to anything else I've tried thus far.
