Barrell Armida
Bourbon — Tennessee (bottled in Kentucky), USA
Reviewed November 19, 2022 (edited November 29, 2022)A sour oak note with a hint of syrup on the nose. On the palate, imagine eating bits of sweet fruit that have been charred on an oak plank. The high proof (heat feeling) hits you on the finish. An enjoyable experience. -
Talisker 10 Year
Peated Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed March 25, 2021 (edited March 27, 2021)Not too smoky, but just enough to balance the tonic alcohol taste. Fruity on the nose, but it is absolutely delicious. Definitely worthy the high rating. I would deem this ESSENTIAL for Scotch Drinkers.
