Tasting Notes
"The nose shows fairly bold aromas like oak, vanilla, toasted nuts, but there's also a touch of fruit in the form of oranges and red berries. As you taste you get those bold flavors again of oak and char smoke with the bourbon pretty spicy on the palate. The flavor overall falls on the bitter side and it feels tight and astringent. Lots of oak flavors on the finish. You'll find a bit of sweetness on the tongue on subsequent tastes and there's again just the faintest bit of fruit from the wine barrels. But if you're looking for lots of wine influence here, you'll be disappointed. "
