I’ve always considered this to be overpriced and this tasting confirms it for me with more experience of late. There’s a real lack of complexity to the palate in my opinion. It goes down very easy, but that’s almost the problem for me.

Always shied away from this because of the peat, but it’s not overwhelming at all. Nice full flavor with the smokiness not coming on until later.

I definitely get fudge and butterscotch on the nose with a little hint of alcohol smell. Just the right amount of warming sensation as it goes down.
