Not sure what to think. Lots of honey and almond

Yummy! This was fun to drink. Beyond the nose, the taste started off with charred barrel and some anise flavors. A dash of water opened it up to cinnamon, dark caramels, and a little pepper. Another dash brought out some milk chocolate covered cherries. Then some more and it was tasting like the usual small batch EC. Fun stuff. Fun when wet.

Reminds me of my homemade dark chocolate (made with agave syrup) covered cashew truffles

Way better once I went back to it (after learning better about whisky! The nose is incredible and the tasting is fun.

Always a smooth and easy drinker. Nothing overpowering, just smooth...

A bit harsh, even considering a rye. Peppery. Good to drink and local, but I think this may be a cocktail or a night when I want a little harshness...need to try it with water yet
