Fine nose fhaf promise something sweeter than the dry, oaky palate and spicy, and pretty hard, finish. 22-22-21-22=87 - on the rocks adds cinnamon to the palate (89 total)

Nose of windfall apples, palate is salty and fresh, but the finish is rather furry. A drop of water helps a lot. 23-23-21-22=89

Not for me. Certainly peaty, and even free of the cloying sweetness in many other peaty malts, but also thin, briny and not very rewarding. To my taste at least. 21-21-22-23=87

Nose is mild and round with some orange, banana, and vanilla. Palate has even more orange but it is lacking zest. Ok finish but an allround simple, smooth, and little too friendly Scotch. Big, almost creamy texture. 22-23-22-23= 90

A glorious combination of piano varnish and (sweet) mahogany wood added a big dash of salt, oak and a hint of coffee. Amazing palate and a long, long finish. 23-25-25-24=97

Chewy and salty. It doesn't gel but still powerful and interesting. 22-23-23-21=88
